C2 Management (C2) is the trade name for CIE International L.L.C., a Virginia corporation since 2001. C2 stands for cradle-to-cradle and reflects our goals to become a leader in the asset recovery and electronics recycling industries. We want to set the standard for re-use and recycling while ensuring our clients are protected from data and environmental liabilities.
Founded in 1998 by Chris Hansen, C2 is the Mid-Atlantic’s largest provider of surplus asset recovery services with an established reputation for efficiency and reliability.
C2 currently serves several dozen customers in the northern Virginia, Maryland, and DC metropolitan areas and employs 64 at our Berryville, VA facility. C2’s clients include Fairfax County, NIH, NCIC, USDA-CEPO, GSA, Hughes Network Systems, Lockheed Martin, and many others including other large recycling firms that send assets to C2 for resale.
Our Staff
C2’s staff has over 65 years combined experience in the asset recovery industry and 20 years in electronics recycling. C2 staff are professional and courteous and will always offer to help clients to go the extra mile.
C2 staff undergo background and security checks prior to being hired. Training is offered to all C2 employees to complete their jobs safely and effectively while improving their personal experience and value.
Facilities and Equipment
C2 operates out of a 100,000 sq. ft secure facility in Berryville, VA. The facility has ample room for shipping and receiving and everything in between from wiping data to repairing equipment. We have forklifts with capacities from 3,000 to 35,000lbs and all the associated material handling equipment to efficiently receive, process and ship materials large and small.
C2 also maintains a fleet of semis, box trucks, van trailers, and heavy equipment trailers and can quickly pickup items in the Washington, Baltimore, and Richmond Metro and surrounding areas.
